When she was dismissed her side needed 66 more at run per delivery - an achievable target now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is uncharted waters so I am glad we have the confidence to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it again but, if we do, we believe we can do it."

These statements will be the last rival teams at this tournament should hear.

Over the past five days a belief they will win from any position has grown stronger - this triumph following win against Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at one stage.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before an encounter with longtime competitors England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final place may well be secure.
